About Dr. Joseph Marcius, DDS Dr. Marcius is a general dentist providing sedation, cosmetic and implant dental services for over 15 years. Dr. Marcius has been certified and licensed by the State of Ohio in IV Moderate Sedation (formerly called conscious sedation). He has studied with some of the top dentists in the world at the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry, the Misch Institute of Implant Dentistry, the Midwest Implant Institute, the Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry, Baylor University-Cosmetic Dentistry and many others. Dr. Marcius also maintains certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). He has earned a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Some of Dr. Marcius' hobbies are photography and art. He uses his artistic abilities along with his extensive training in dentistry to create beautiful, alluring smiles for his patients. Dr. Marcius carefully designs the shapes and contours of your teeth himself in his laboratory so that they harmonize with your lips and other facial features. He then uses a master ceramist who is also a professional artist and glass blower to finish the custom ceramic teeth. This results in beautiful bright smiles and assures proper speech patterns.
